For buyers and sellers

Your settlement is in safe hands.

If you have bought or sold property through a brokerage that uses us, we carry out the financial settlement — on behalf of your agent.

Step by step

You have bought

  1. 1

Pay the purchase price and costs

The amount is paid to the client account by the deadline in the purchase contract, using the payment details from your agent.

  2. 2

Your bank sends a mortgage deed

If you have a loan, your bank sends the mortgage deed, which is registered together with the deed.

  3. 3

    Completion

You take over the property on the date agreed in the purchase contract.

  4. 4

    The deed is registered

The deed is sent for registration with the Norwegian Mapping Authority, and title passes to you.

  5. 5

    Settlement statement

You receive a statement of every amount in the case once the settlement is complete.

Step by step

You have sold

  1. 1

    We obtain your loan details

We receive information from your bank about what is required to redeem your loan.

  2. 2

    Your loan is redeemed

Your loan is redeemed with funds from the settlement, and the mortgage is deleted.

  3. 3

    Title passes

When the deed is registered and the buyer's security is in order, everything is ready for payout.

  4. 4

    You receive the money

The net amount is paid to the account you have provided.

  5. 5

    Settlement statement

You receive a statement of every amount: purchase price, redemption, fee and outlays.

The settlement statement

Every krone, in black and white.

When the settlement is complete, both buyer and seller receive a settlement statement showing every transaction in the case, with dates. Interest on the client account belongs to whoever is entitled to it, and is itemised in the statement.
